Lenovo Releases The Smallest ISV-Certified Workstation

Today at its TRANSFORM commercial summit in New York, NY, Lenovo made two announcements around its PC offerings. Lenovo announced what it refers to as the smallest Independent Software Vendor (ISV) certified workstation, the ThinkStation P320 Tiny. Levono states that the P320 Tiny can run critical applications reliably in a one liter form factor. The company is also announcing a PC as a Service (PCaaS) offering to provide a fully-managed, fixed monthly cost subscription model combining hardware and services into a single solution.

Dell Precision 3520 Mobile Workstation Review

The Dell Precision 3520 is a performance workstation that starts at an affordable price. Dell then offers a variety of build options, including Intel Core or Intel Xeon processors and NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics. The Precision 3520 features up to 32GB of 2400MHz DDR NECC and ECC RAM and is equipped with USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3 technology (through a Dell Thunderbolt Dock), making this a very flexible laptop. Dell Precision 5520 UHD Mobile Workstation Review

Dell's newest addition to its Precision line leverages workstation-quality componentry with top-of-the-line consumer features. The Precision 5520 UHD, which is boasted as the "world's thinnest, lightest and smallest 15-inch mobile workstation," is mostly geared towards mobile users who want both performance and aesthetics. HP Z2 Mini Workstation Review

The HP Z2 Mini workstation is exactly what the name implies; it's a tiny workstation that looks more like a thin client than a full-fledged workstation. Make no mistake though, despite the diminutive  size, the Z2 Mini is still packed with everything most creative and design professionals need. Inside the case there's an NVIDIA Quadro M620-class GPU along with an HP Z Turbo PCIe SSD. For those who need a bit more local storage, there's also a standard 2.5" SATA bay that can house a hard drive or potentially a second SSD if needed. The Dell OptiPlex 7040 Series is a small form factor (SFF) computer that can pack quite the power punch per square inch. The OptiPlex 7040 comes equipped with the latest sixth generation Intel Core Processor. The OptiPlex 7040 is offered in two form factors: the mini tower and the SFF. Both of these form factors have been scaled down from the previous models. For our review we will be looking at the SFF.
