Atlantis Computing Announces HCI For ROBO & Micro Data Centers

Today Atlantis Computing announced that, along with the support of Dell, it is expanding its hyperconverged appliance product line into the remote offices, branch offices (ROBO) and micro data centers arena. Scality Strengthens Its Partnership With HPE

Nutanix Files Paperwork For Purposed IPO

Yesterday Nutanix announced that it has filed its S-1 form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the first step of going public. Nutanix will be traded on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol “NTNX.” A specific time frame isn’t available yet but it seems that the IPO will be in the next few weeks.

HPE Introduces A 2-Node Hyper Converged 250 Appliance

Back in August, HPE (then branded HP) introduced its cost-effective Hyperconverged appliance the HPE HC-250 StoreVirtual. The initial release saw a 4-node followed quickly by the release of a 3-node configuration. HPE has now announced that they are releasing an even more cost-effective 2-node version of the HC-250 that is aimed at SMB and ROBO deployments.
