Today Seagate Technology and the software-defined storage company, RackTop Systems, announced a new partnership on a joint product, the Secure Data Protection Platform (SDP2). Targeted at governments, the SDP2 is designed to solve key cyber security and compliance issues. The SDP2 is a drop-in data storage solution that specifically addresses NIST 800-171 and GDPR security and compliance requirements.

Dell EMC Adds AMD EPYC CPU-Based PowerEdge Servers To Its Portfolio

Today Dell EMC announced new 14th generation PowerEdge serves with the AMD EPYC processors instead of Intel. The three new servers, PowerEdge R6415, PowerEdge R7415, and PowerEdge R7425, are designed for software-defined environments, the edge, and high-performance computing (HPC). The company states that the new servers can offer up to 20% better TCO per four-node cluster for vSAN deployments at the edge.

Dell EMC Networking S4048 S-Series 10GbE Switch Review
