QNAP Is DataCore Ready For SANsymphony-V

Today QNAP Systems Inc. announced that its enterprise-class Turbo NAS series are certified DataCore Ready for SANsymphony-V. SANsymphony-V is DataCore’s virtual SAN software-only solution that runs on existing x86 architecture. This combination of QNAP’s hardware and DataCore’s software aims to maximize the availability and utilization of IT assets while simplifying data storage management.

The combination also gives organizations a cost-effective software-defined storage based on virtualization technologies.

Benefits include:

  • 10GbE-ready & SSD cache for high performance
  • QTS for easy storage management
  • Remote Replication for disaster recovery and migration
  • Software-defined storage based on virtualization technologies
