QNAP TV Station Announced, Adding Digital TV Recording and Resource Sharing for its Turbo NAS Lineup
QNAP Systems has announced the release of TV Station, adding to Turbo NAS users’ multimedia experience of watching and recording TV online. The TV Station gives customers an economical solution to record their digital TV programs and to share live or recorded contents with multiple members simultaneously. This is an attractive option for TV fans, as live and recorded TV programs are being made accessible through web browsers more than ever. Additionally, the installation of a DVB-T USB TV tuner on the Turbo NAS is accomplished in a few simple steps.
Up to 2 USB TV tuners are supported so that users can watch a TV program while recording another at the same time. Users can also easily schedule specific TV programs to be recorded with the over-the-air Electronic Program Guide (EPG) feature. The TV Station is now available for most Turbo NAS that have NAS firmware version 3.8.0 and onward.
