The Suite is a combination of HPE Storage Optimizer, HPE Data Protector and HPE Backup Navigator. This combination will bring analytics together with the end-to-end backup and recovery process. ![]() Data protection and management tools may struggle with a few of the recent trends. Unstructured data is growing at a rapid rate, applications are becoming more diverse and complicated, and there are new data protection rules such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). HPE’s new suite is deigned to address the changing market conditions, while providing insights, operational efficiency, and streamlined management regardless of data location. The combination of solutions not only provides analytics resulting in insights, it can also deliver time and cost savings, while mitigating risk. **Features include:** - Manage and optimize unstructured information – HPE Storage Optimizer helps companies analyze, classify and manage data based on its value. Users can understand and control the information landscape to reduce costs, meet backup SLAs and reduce compliance risks. - Protect data based on its value – HPE Data Protector serves as the core protection engine for comprehensive backup and recovery that is centrally managed. Users can consolidate and standardize backup and replication to improve reliability, enhance business resiliency – while reducing cost and complexity. - Make backup process more efficient – HPE Backup Navigator provides analytics, reporting and data monitoring. Users can identify protection gaps, run rapid root-cause analysis for issues in order to help IT departments plan for future backup resource and proactively resolve errors and improve resource utilization. **Availability and Pricing** HPE Adaptive Backup and Recovery suite is available now, starting at $6,200/terabyte, the suite will be offered at flexible pricing levels based on capacity of data managed.
