R-Cloud is a low-code, purpose-built data protection development platform for SaaS vendors to deliver secure and scalable enterprise-class backup and recovery services. ![HYCU R-Cloud]() According to a recent [Statista report](https://www.statista.com/statistics/1239046/top-saas-countries-list/), over 17,000 SaaS applications are in use across organizations today, and 99 percent of those applications lack reliable backup and recovery. With R-Cloud, those SaaS vendors and ISVs can deliver data protection services in days, delivering backup and recovery services to more than 59 billion users. ![HYCU R-Cloud dashboard]() The R-Cloud platform allows SaaS companies to leverage HYCU’s expertise in data protection, orchestration, identity and access management, policy management, and analytics to protect SaaS data. According to HYCU, this is the first time SaaS companies can quickly release secure and verifiable data protection delivered as a service for their customers. R-Cloud offers IT admins and developers data protection regardless of SaaS-based applications. Previously, the average development time to create new data protection was at least four quarters, and HYCU has reduced that to four days. R-Cloud benefits include: - Low-code, Integrated Development Environment: R-Cloud offers SaaS companies and ISVs the ability to develop new R-Cloud modules for SaaS services in days rather than years. - Rapid Diagnosis via Graphical Visualization: Businesses get a visualization of their entire data estate and protection status via auto-discovery and mapping of all applications and services that include SaaS, PaaS, DBaaS, public, and private cloud. They also receive a detailed and holistic view of business-critical data and its protection status. - Tight Integration with Data Protection Technology: SaaS companies and ISVs can couple their application intelligence with the discovery, orchestration, security, policy management, and reporting of HYCU. - Secure, Patented New Recovery Service: Applications developed on R-Cloud will provide SaaS users with: - One-click backup for ‘set and forget’ backup policies that run 24/7. - Granular recovery of elements across any protected SaaS application. - Self-service capabilities that deliver role-based access control and enable SaaS admins and users to protect and restore critical data. - Security and confidence that all developed data protection services are stored securely and protected against ransomware. - Data Protection Services on HYCU Protégé Marketplace: Organizations can subscribe and access a growing library of all protected SaaS, DBaaS, and PaaS applications. ![]() The initial SaaS-based applications, databases, and services supported in R-Cloud include Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Workspace, Google BigQuery, Salesforce, Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian Jira Software, Atlassian Jira Service Management, Okta, and Microsoft 365. HYCU will make new application integration available through HYCU Protégé Marketplace.
