Dell Technologies World kicked off today with a primary focus on AI. In fact, Dell has unveiled the Dell AI Factory, which provides customers with an extensive AI portfolio that includes everything from devices to data centers and cloud solutions. The initiative offers an open ecosystem of technology partners, enabling the creation of AI applications tailored to individual needs through either traditional purchases or Dell APEX subscriptions.
Jeff Clarke, vice chairman and chief operating officer of Dell Technologies, emphasized the rapid transformation AI is bringing to businesses. He stated that data centers must be specifically designed to handle AI’s unique demands for speed and scale. Additionally, new AI PCs are enhancing productivity and collaboration. Clarke noted that the Dell AI Factory facilitates AI adoption by offering a comprehensive portfolio and ecosystem of AI partners. This allows for flexible and controlled AI deployments across various environments.
Dell’s comprehensive AI portfolio includes client devices, servers, storage, data protection, and networking, forming the backbone of the AI Factory. Dell is expanding this portfolio with new, purpose-built offerings to meet the demands of AI.
