Red Hat Intends To Integrate CoreOS With OpenShift

At Red Hat’s Summit 2018 in San Francisco, the company announced that it will begin integrating CoreOS Tectonic, Quay, and Container Linux with Red Hat’s robust container and Kubernetes-based solutions portfolio. Red Hat has revealed a roadmap to how it will be integrating these technologies into its container application platform. The company states that this will bring the benefits of containers while also making hybrid cloud environments a more attractive option for enterprises.

Hitachi Vantara Announces New AI Operations Software and Flash Storage Systems

Hitachi Vantara has announced several new innovations designed to promote data center modernization, including an updated advanced AI operations software portfolio: Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor, Hitachi Automation Director, and Hitachi Data Instance Director. Moreover, the new all-flash hybrid Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) systems and AI operations software give customers agility and automation, which Hitachi indicates helps to reduce costs and increase operational efficiencies.
