Samsung Launches New All-in-One Thin Client Displays

Samsung has announced the launch of two new all-in-one thin client cloud displays, the TC222L (21.5”) and TC242L (23.6”). Using IGEL’s thin client software, the new monitors aim to provide an interesting take on the Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI).

With an operating system based on Linux installed on both displays, the new fanless models both come with IGEL’s Univeral Management Suite 5 to provide a simple console to govern remote access and other applications. Able to handle multiple popular VDI environments like Citrix, VMWare, and Microsoft VDI, the new TC222L and TC242L are designed to appeal to business owners looking for cost-efficient workstation solutions.

Each model differs very slightly, and share most of their features.
