These innovations integrate multi-layered and zero-trust security approaches to protect against evolving cyber threats while enabling organizations to meet emerging regulatory requirements. Phil Mottram, EVP and General Manager of HPE Aruba Networking, highlighted the increasing sophistication of cyber threats driven by the rise of AI-powered applications. He explained that HPE’s security solutions are designed to mitigate risks, defend against attacks, and enhance operational resilience, ensuring enterprises remain secure in a rapidly evolving threat landscape. ## Accelerating Zero-Trust Security HPE Aruba Networking has introduced new cloud-based access control capabilities within its Aruba Networking Central platform, accelerating enterprise-grade zero-trust security. These capabilities treat all users, devices, and applications as potential threats until verified, leveraging robust policy management to enhance protection. The new Network Access Control (NAC) feature allows IT teams to define and implement precise role-based policies for users and devices, advancing universal zero-trust network access (ZTNA) initiatives. These policies are supported by existing features, such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), AI-powered observability, and microsegmentation, which collectively minimize the impact of potential breaches. ![HPE Aruba Networking and GreenLake]() The enhanced Policy Manager in Aruba Networking Central NAC enables more granular access policies, such as application-to-role and role-to-subnet enforcement, ensuring consistent security and compliance across edge-to-cloud environments. Additionally, improved integration between Aruba Networking Central and HPE OpsRamp expands the capacity to monitor third-party devices from vendors like Cisco, Arista, and Juniper Networks. New application profiling and risk assessment features allow enterprises to establish access policies based on risk preferences. ## High-Performance Mesh Connectivity for Global PoPs HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN introduces advanced Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) features, tighter integration with Aruba Networking SSE, and Adaptive DDoS defense powered by machine learning. These capabilities dynamically adjust defenses in real time, ensuring robust protection. Furthermore, Aruba Networking SSE now includes high-performance mesh connectivity for global points of presence (PoPs), ensuring zero downtime by dynamically routing traffic through the most efficient paths. This feature provides secure alternative data routes and automatic failure handling without IT intervention. ## Digital Circuit Breaker HPE GreenLake has also been enhanced with new capabilities to protect enterprises against emerging threats, simplify compliance, and boost operational resilience. HPE Private Cloud Enterprise introduces a “digital circuit breaker” capability that temporarily disconnects from the public internet when network threats are detected. This feature isolates critical data and infrastructure, minimizing potential impacts and ensuring business continuity. The system securely reconnects once the threat is resolved, addressing key Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA) requirements. Air-gapped cloud management is now available for sovereign environments and private clouds through HPE Private Cloud Enterprise. This solution, delivered by HPE security-cleared personnel, enables enterprises in regulated industries to operate without external network connections, ensuring compliance and operational control. HPE has also introduced new cybersecurity services to help enterprises evaluate, adopt, and integrate sovereign security solutions into their risk management frameworks. These services guarantee regulatory alignment and operational control for sensitive environments. ## AI-Driven Cybersecurity Services HPE’s new AI-driven cybersecurity services enable enterprises to embrace AI with robust governance, risk management, and compliance. These services transform cybersecurity operations into predictive systems that prevent traditional and AI-enabled attacks. HPE OpsRamp and CrowdStrike integration also provide real-time threat detection and unified observability, boosting system performance and cyber resilience. HPE’s security innovations reflect a broader commitment to edge-to-cloud security and align with global and industry regulations, including the CISA Secure by Design pledge, CIS (Center for Internet Security) standards, and DORA requirements. Key advancements include AI-based network detection and response (NDR) from HPE Aruba Networking, ransomware protection with HPE Cyber Resilience Vault, and post-quantum cryptography in the new [HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers](https://www.storagereview.com/news/hpe-proliant-gen12-servers-unleashing-intel-xeon-6-performance-and-direct-liquid-cooling).
