This partnership aims to meet the scaling needs of modern enterprises and large GPU cloud service providers, ensuring seamless and reliable deployment of AI solutions. ![vast data platform](https://www.storagereview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/vast-data-platform.png) Enterprises are increasingly leveraging AI for critical business tasks, necessitating highly reliable and secure infrastructures capable of rapid deployment and seamless scalability. The collaboration between VAST Data and Arista Networks addresses these needs by integrating VAST’s innovative Disaggregated Shared-Everything (DASE) architecture with Arista Networks’ high-speed, low-latency networking. The result ensures resilient data access and optimized GPU-accelerated computing. ## Benefits of VAST Data and Arista Network Collaboration The partnership between VAST Data and Arista Networks is set to deliver simple, robust enterprise functionality. The two companies offer a composable network and data management solution that provides resilient, easy-to-manage, multi-tenant, scalable, high-performance, and Zero-trust-based AI infrastructure. This infrastructure meets strict enterprise security and compliance standards, ensuring robust functionality for enterprise applications. ![]() The partnership will focus on delivering an efficient infrastructure for AI workloads. The VAST Data Platform utilizes proprietary Similarity data reduction and compression capabilities, significantly reducing power consumption and improving efficiency. When paired with Arista’s data-driven, client-to-cloud networking, businesses benefit from an efficient networking infrastructure tailored to support their AI workloads. The complementary observability tools provided by VAST Data and Arista Networks simplify managing the flow of data from edge to core to cloud to meet the demands of data-hungry algorithms and services. This ensures that critical data is accessible and manageable across the entire infrastructure, end-to-end, with full-stack observability. The collaboration allows organizations to scale their AI and data infrastructure as needed. With low latency, high-bandwidth lossless Ethernet switching, and disaggregated infrastructure, VAST and Arista provide scalable storage and performance solutions that grow with the business. ## Supporting the AI Revolution Martin Hull, VP/GM Cloud and AI Networking at Arista Networks highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “Modern AI applications require an accelerated computing network that can interconnect hundreds and thousands of GPUs, with fast access to massive unstructured data sets distributed across the globe. We are consolidating and optimizing AI infrastructure to empower enterprises to unlock the full potential of AI.” John Mao, Vice President, Strategic Alliances at VAST Data, emphasized the transformative nature of their joint solution: “Today’s new AI workloads require a new type of data infrastructure, built on top of a radically different architecture. With VAST and Arista, organizations can consolidate enterprise and AI workloads onto a unified, multi-tenant infrastructure designed to streamline their AI data pipelines, simplify management, and reduce complexity – allowing them to focus on deriving value from their entire data set and accelerate innovation.” ## Qualified for Production Deployments As part of this partnership, VAST Data has qualified select Arista Ethernet switches for use in production deployments at scale. This qualification underscores the readiness of their joint solution to support enterprise AI initiatives and large-scale GPU cloud services.
