ADATA Premier SP610 SSD Now Available

ADATA has announced that its Premier SP610 2.5” SATA III (6Gb/s) SSD is now available. ATADA’s new SSD is designed to maintain high read/write speeds consistently for stable performance with its SMI controller as well as featuring the advanced BCH ECC (Error Correction Code) technology. The Premier SP610 is also ideal for PC builders looking to move away from mechanical drives to the high performance of solid state drive technology. ADATA’s new SSD line comes in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.


ADATA has announced that its Premier SP610 2.5” SATA III (6Gb/s) SSD is now available. ATADA’s new SSD is designed to maintain high read/write speeds consistently for stable performance with its SMI controller as well as featuring the advanced BCH ECC (Error Correction Code) technology. The Premier SP610 is also ideal for PC builders looking to move away from mechanical drives to the high performance of solid state drive technology. ADATA’s new SSD line comes in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

The Premier SP610 provides sequential read/write speeds up to 560/450MB/s and 4KB random read/write speeds up to 73,000/72,000 IOPS, providing the performance needed for multi-tasks, such as gaming and often used applications/programs for midrange SSD buyers.

The built-in BCH ECC (up to 66bit/1KB) of the Premier SP610 can effectively improve the reliability of transferring and protecting data. In addition, the Premier SP610 consumes very little power compared to the traditional drives at just 80mW, prolonging the life expectancy.

The SP610 has an slim 7mm body, which supports all slim PCs in today’s market. Additionally, the new ADATA drives are bundled with a 2.5mm spacer as well as the 3.5” converter, allowing the Premier SP610 to support both 9.5mm applications and traditional mechanical drive bays.
