Intel NUC 8 Mainstream Kit (NUC8i7BEH) Review

We recently had the opportunity to review an Intel NUC7CJYS; a low priced NUC. We were impressed with the value that it delivered and thought it would be interesting to see how much power Intel packs into a mid-tier NUC systems, in this case the NUC8i7BEH (Bean Canyon). Intel NUC systems are used by enthusiast that want to build a home lab that take up a minimal amount of space, custom builders that configure them for a specific purpose such as entertainment systems, home users that are looking for a quiet, small computer, and others that want a system that take up a minimal amount of space.

Dell Announces New Slate of Workstations

Dell has made it clear that the company is focusing on "unified workspace" for end users more than ever with their latest slate of mobile workstation announcements at this year's Dell World. They’ve also expressed enormous interest in the “new economy,” which translates to worker productivity and inspired workforces as key to a successful business. And Dell believes that IT plays an important role in it. The challenge is that IT isn't necessarily equipped to deliver an inspired, productive work environment: there can be a lot of troubleshooting, unneeded hassles and issues, and not much flexibility. End users (or workers) might not be able to seamlessly transition between to device to device to access their data. Dell sees a big opportunity here and has certainly shown a lot of innovation with their newly announced line up, which promises to address all of these efficiency issues that affect today's workplace.
