ASRock Rack Server Motherboards With AMD EPYC 8004 Series Processors Support Announced

ASRock Rack announced today an expanded server motherboard lineup with support for the AMD EPYC 8004 Series processors, extending the 4th Gen AMD EPYC family into an array of new markets. Leveraging AMD’s cutting-edge “Zen 4c” processor core architecture, the EPYC 8004 Series is engineered to meet the rigorous demands for performance, energy efficiency, and quieter operations in versatile computing environments, from traditional data centers to healthcare and retail sectors.

This new combination of processor and motherboard represents a purpose-built solution designed to deliver robust performance in an optimized, single-socket package. Notably, the processors promise to deliver business-relevant configurations without breaking the bank, thanks to their streamlined platform componentry.

SIENAD8-2L2T

First up from ASRock Rack’s line is the SIENAD8-2L2T. Designed to meet the needs of a broad range of applications, this board comes in a standard ATX form factor, measuring 12″ x 9.6″. It includes four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and one PCIe 5.0 x8 slot, ensuring ample expandability for a variety of enterprise tasks.
