Comtrade System Software & Tools (Comtrade) has announced that Citrix has acquired the company's System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) management packs for Citrix users. Earlier today, Citrix agreed to sell their CloudPlatform and CloudPortal Business Manager product lines to Accelerite.
With this acquisition, Citrix users will gain comprehensive, end-to-end monitoring for a single pane of glass visibility into the entire Citrix desktop virtualization, network and mobility environment. In addition, customers will have the ability to proactively observe and analyze the Citrix end user experience as well as its infrastructure health performance across products such as XenDesktop, XenApp, XenMobile and NetScaler. This means that IT departments will be able to improve their 24/7, high availability service with proactive alerting and rapid root cause identification across all Citrix components and dependent infrastructures.
Comtrade indicates that it will continue adapt further advancements and innovate in the enterprise infrastructure and application performance management space while developing new products and integrating more business critical systems.
