Dell APEX Navigator for Multicloud Storage simplifies management and operations through an integrated experience for Dell APEX Storage for Public Cloud. With Dell APEX Navigator, ITOps teams streamline multicloud storage management, boost productivity, and fortify multicloud operations in one unified location.

Streamlining Multicloud Management and Operations

Dell APEX Navigator for Multicloud Storage offers an integrated, user-friendly platform that streamlines the management and operations of multicloud storage. This simplification is a boon for IT Operations teams, enabling them to efficiently manage storage across various clouds, thereby boosting productivity and strengthening multicloud operations.

Organizations can significantly reduce their block storage expenditure in the public cloud. Dell promises up to 87 percent savings compared to native AWS offerings and a risk-free 90-day evaluation. This cost efficiency is a game-changer for businesses looking to optimize their cloud spend.

Dell APEX Navigator is not just about savings; it’s also about performance. With claims of 100X better performance compared to standard AWS offerings, Dell is setting a new benchmark in cloud storage efficiency.

The initial deployment of Dell storage software within AWS is designed to be quick and straightforward, completed in just a few steps. Security is also a top priority, with features like Single Sign-On (SSO), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and federated identity all adhering to Zero Trust security principles.

The platform offers tools for centralized oversight of storage in the public cloud, enabling businesses to make data-driven decisions based on insights into health, performance, capacity, and subscriptions.

With Dell APEX Navigator, data can seamlessly move between Dell APEX Block Storage for AWS and on-premises Dell PowerFlex storage, ensuring optimal workload placement.

The API-first architecture of APEX Navigator and its compatibility with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform make it an ideal solution for modern DevOps environments.

Availability

Dell APEX Navigator for Multicloud Storage will be available for quoting on November 30 and is expected to be generally available in December in the U.S.

Integration with Dell APEX File Storage for AWS is on the horizon, with availability expected in the first half of 2024. This integration is part of Dell’s commitment to expanding support for more storage offerings, cloud providers, and regions.
An update for Dell APEX File Storage for AWS is scheduled for mid-December, featuring increased storage capacity and expanded geographic availability.
