Eaton Launches New Power Xpert 9395 High Performance UPS

Today Eaton Corporation announced a high performance model uninterruptible power system (UPS), the new Power Xpert 9395. This new UPS provides best-in-class efficiency and scalable battery runtimes for data centers, light industrial applications, and multi-tenant data centers. The Power Xpert 9395 will offer 10% more power (275kW modules at a power rating of 675-1100 kW/kVA) within the same footprint to help customers lower their total cost of ownership.


Today Eaton Corporation announced a high performance model uninterruptible power system (UPS), the new Power Xpert 9395. This new UPS provides best-in-class efficiency and scalable battery runtimes for data centers, light industrial applications, and multi-tenant data centers. The Power Xpert 9395 will offer 10% more power (275kW modules at a power rating of 675-1100 kW/kVA) within the same footprint to help customers lower their total cost of ownership.

Though drives, servers, and arrays continue to be more power efficient, the power needs of data centers continue to go up. With the increase in power usage there is also an increase in the need to keep critical data up and running through powerful UPS systems. The new Power Xpert 9395 can deliver up to 99% efficiency across most loads using Eaton’s Energy Saving System and industry leading double-conversion efficiency up to 97%.

The Power Xpert 9395 became the first transformerless UPS on the market in 2007 and now has over 9,300 units installed globally. The latest Power Xpert 9395 comes with a modular design enabling customers to scale as their business grows and prevents them from needing to buy more capacity than needed. The Power Xpert 9395 also come with a LCD touchscreen for displaying energy data without the need to log into a web GUI. Administrators can monitor and manage usage on the spot
