The DataDiscover upgrade comes in the form of an enhancement to DataFlow. Starting May 15, 2020, DataFlow will allow customers to move data tracked by Igneous DataDiscover in native format. DataFlow will support moving data both on-premises and in the cloud. Igneous already supports AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, so the new feature should be compatible with all three.

Igneous’s DataDiscover will also support organizations allowing end-users to find their data, wherever it is. Curiously, Igneous says you need to deploy a virtual machine in order to use DataDiscover and DataFlow.
