Intel released the latest version of their Solid-State Drive Toolbox, which now offers a cleaner interface and most importantly the ability to update Intel SSD firmware through Windows. The toolbox also offers a slew of other new features in the help category to walk users through the best way to optimize their drives for longevity and speed.
Intel has always had the best toolbox for their SSD, offering robust features sometimes overlooked by other vendors. In this case the best just got better. A big push with the latest version of the SSD Toolbox is showing users, in an easy to understand GUI, what the current status of their drive is in terms of health and estimated life remaining.
