Lenovo Think IoT Back to Work Solutions Now Available

Lenovo has announced the immediate availability of Think IoT Back to Work Solutions, the company’s offerings specifically designed for businesses returning to work after the coronavirus pandemic. The new solution validates, deploys, and manages these end-to-end solutions globally via a turnkey offering, which is important for large businesses with distributed locations.

Lenovo has announced the immediate availability of Think IoT Back to Work Solutions, the company’s offerings specifically designed for businesses returning to work after the coronavirus pandemic. The new solution validates, deploys, and manages these end-to-end solutions globally via a turnkey offering, which is important for large businesses with distributed locations.

Lenovo’s Back to Work solutions provides a single point of accountability for customers and tests each solution through a validation process. This includes 140 steps that cover areas such as: security, serviceability, scalability, and reliability. Moreover, Lenovo has more than 20,000 technicians for the deployment of these solutions and ensures their will be minimal site disruption.

Lenovo ran a survey in which most of the respondents indicated that their job changed to remote working due to Covid-19, while the vast majority said they wanted their employers to deploy technology safety measures for when they return to the office. In response to these results, Lenovo has outlined a 3-step framework to help make spaces safer and improve business transformation for the long term.

  • Controlling who gets into the location
  • Managing behaviors within the space; and
  • Preparing to respond to incidents

With help from its partners, Lenovo indicates that the following solutions will help make workplaces safer when employees go back to work on site:

  • Touchless Building Access: Modern access control that allows touchless access, phone-based authentication, easy cloud management, and integrations with legacy access control systems and IoT solutions. (Openpath)
  • Elevated Temperature Screening: Thermal screening solutions using FDA cleared thermal cameras to identify elevated body temperature in individuals as they go through access points. (Viper Imaging)
  • Digital Signage and Policy Communication: Integrated digital communication and content management solution to effectively communicate policies and information to your workforce. (L Squared)
  • Safe Workspace Monitoring: Office occupancy monitoring solution with granularity to a seat level to comply with social distancing protocols and identify workspace utilization for target cleaning. (Relogix)
  • On-Premise Contact Tracing: Employee and visitor tracing using existing Wi-Fi network to monitor workspace zone health and enable a focused response in the event of an incident. (Inpixon)

Customers will be able to mix and match solutions based on their individual needs.
