LSI is now sampling a PCI Express-based solid-state storage (SSS) solution to OEMs. The LSISSS6200 PCIe SSS card is a high-performance solution for enterprise servers and cruises along at 1,500MB/s sustained sequential I/O and 1,200MB/s sustained random I/O; regardless of read/write mix.
The LSISSS6200 also delivers up to 200,000 4K sequential IOPS and up to 150,000 4K random IOPS. Each card can support up to 300GB of storage and requires no external power. Other highlights include SAS protocol, LSI software for easy deployment and support for most enterprise-class operating systems.
