MSI introduced advanced Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions at GTC 2024, showcasing a leap forward in industrial automation. Equipped with smart vision and AI, these innovative AMRs are designed to enhance operational efficiency and versatility across various sectors, including warehousing, automotive, semiconductor, and panel manufacturing.

The spotlight fell on two flagship AMR models introduced by MSI: the AMR-AI-Cobot Pro and the AMR-AI-Delivery Robot Pro. These models are at the forefront of leveraging AI and robotics technology, highlighting MSI’s drive toward pioneering new automation solutions that promise to redefine industry standards.

Highlighted by its smart robotic arm, the AMR-AI-Cobot Pro is engineered to boost productivity and ensure safety in various industrial settings. Powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson AGX Orin, it features sophisticated capabilities such as precise navigation with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), 3D navigation routes for efficient movement, accelerated object detection, and compatibility with third-party applications. This model is well suited for industries like semiconductor and panel manufacturing, electronics, warehousing, logistics, textiles, biotechnology, and the food sector.

The AMR-AI-Delivery Robot Pro model features advanced AI functionalities, including smart face and speech recognition, to provide safe and accurate delivery services. Also powered by the Jetson AGX Orin platform, this AMR excels in varied environments thanks to its SLAM capabilities, 3D navigation, and swift object detection. With support for third-party APIs, it showcases remarkable versatility, making it an ideal choice for factories, warehouses, medical facilities, offices, residential complexes, and shopping centers.

The introduction of these AMR solutions at NVIDIA’s GTC 2024 illustrates the increasingly pivotal role that intelligent robotics is playing in the global transformation of factory and industry operations. By emphasizing efficiency, precision, and safety, MSI aims to elevate the standards for its manufacturing and automation customers, positioning itself as a leader in advancing industrial processes.
