New Synology 2U Rack-Mount NAS Holds Up to 66TB

 Synology’s latest rack-mount NAS is the RS2211RP+ with 10 drive bays – it can be paired with the companion RX1211RP for a total of 22 drives. It will be available mid-April for $3,000.

Synology’s latest rack-mount NAS is the RS2211RP+ with 10 drive bays – it can be paired with the companion RX1211RP for a total of 22 drives.

The RS2211RP+ and RX1211RP both feature redundant power supplies. The RS2211RP+ has write performance up to 166MB/s and read up to 198MB/s.

The RX1211RP connects to the RS2211RP+ using an Infiniband cable with up to 12Gb/s of bandwidth.
