Kaminario Releases Clarity For K2
Last week Kaminario announced the release of its cloud-based analytics program, Clarity. Designed to work with its flagship AFA, K2, Kaminario claims Clarity can enhance performance of on-demand apps and boost IT productivity. To help customers get the most out of their storage, Clarity provides a comprehensive set of management and monitoring functionalities, including a unique capability to leverage application-level intelligence and big data analytics. Clarity also includes simplified QoS and a single view of different layers of the data center stack. Clarity is expected to be available in the first half of 2017.
Druva Raises $51 Million In Series E Funding
Druva announced this week that it has raised an additional $51 million in Series E funding, bringing the total amount of capitol raised to $118 million. This round was led by and contributed to from EDBI, Blue Cloud Ventures, Hercules Capital, NTT Finance, Nexus Venture Partners, and Tenaya Capital. The capitol will be used to accelerate innovation and drive sales.
Google Cloud Platform Hits 1 Billion End-Users
As a surprise to no one, Google Cloud Platform now servers over a billion end-users. Along with this GPC announced 8 new regions: Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Northern Virginia, São Paulo, London, Finland, and Frankfurt (they will roll out throughout next year). BigQuery has added new enterprise features and flat-rate pricing. And GPC has opened up Cloud Machine Learning to everyone.
