Pure Storage announced a series of capabilities to transform how IT and business leaders enhance their AI deployment, bolster cyber resilience, and modernize applications. The new solutions are being unveiled at the //Accelerate event, underscoring Pure Storage’s commitment to providing a solid foundation for AI and cyber resilience.

Pure Storage’s platform is engineered to deliver agility and risk mitigation for organizations. It offers a simple, consistent storage solution with an as-a-service experience tailored for a wide range of use cases across on-premises, public cloud, and hosted environments. The Evergreen architecture is central to this platform, which offers continuous, non-disruptive upgrades, allowing enterprises to seamlessly adapt to evolving business needs. With a record number of concurrent SLAs in the industry, customers benefit from the reliability, performance, and sustainability required for their operations.

New Innovations in Pure Storage Platform

Pure Storage has introduced several innovative features to enhance its platform further, including:

First-of-its-kind Storage Automation

Pure Fusion now unifies arrays and optimizes storage pools dynamically across structured and unstructured data, whether on-premises or in the cloud. Integrated into the Purity operating environment, which improves over time through non-disruptive upgrades, Pure Fusion is available globally across the entire Pure Storage platform.

Industry-First Generative AI Copilot for Storage

Pure’s AI copilot for storage simplifies data management and protection using natural language. Leveraging insights from tens of thousands of Pure Storage customers, it assists storage teams in investigating complex performance and management issues and preempting security incidents. Importantly, Pure’s Copilot is secure as well, only working with data available to it from a customer’s Pure data estate.

Accelerating AI Success in Enterprises

A survey commissioned by Pure Storage involving 1,500 global CIOs and decision-makers revealed that 98% believe their organization’s data infrastructure needs improvement to support AI initiatives. Rapid AI evolution is outpacing IT’s ability to keep up, and companies are finding themselves constrained by inflexible storage architectures lacking enterprise-grade reliability and scalability.

To address these challenges, Pure Storage has introduced new platform innovations to help businesses accelerate AI deployment and future-proof their infrastructure. These new platform solutions include:

  • Evergreen//One for AI: This is the first AI Storage as-a-Service for GPU performance, guaranteeing performance for training, inference, and HPC workloads. It offers capacity subscriptions and allows purchases based on dynamic performance and throughput needs. This SLA-driven service maximizes GPU utilization and eliminates the need for overbuying by enabling payment based on actual throughput performance.
  • Future-proof NVIDIA AI Performance: By year-end, Pure Storage will be certified for NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD and its existing NVIDIA DGX BasePOD and OVX certifications. As an Ethernet-based storage partner, this simplifies enterprise integration for large-scale AI training and inference.
  • Secure Application Workspaces with Fine-Grained Access Controls: Pure Storage enables advanced data integrations between enterprise-critical data and AI clusters by combining Kubernetes container management, secure multi-tenancy, and policy governance tools. This transparency in storage infrastructure provides application owners with automated access to AI innovation without compromising security, independence, or control.

Pure’s  Chairman and CEO, Charles Giancarlo, emphasized the transformative nature of Pure’s unified data storage platform, highlighting its ability to address critical challenges such as AI and cyber resilience while delivering consistent, resilient, and SLA-driven data storage services.

Pure Storage continues to innovate, providing robust, flexible, and future-proof solutions for AI and cyber resilience, empowering organizations to unlock the full potential of their data.
