Additionally, the TS-x28A series runs the latest version of QNAP’s NAS operating system, QTS 4.3.4, which adds enhanced snapshot features with lower hardware resource requirements, which allows NAS solutions with 1GB RAM (like the TS-x28A) to benefit from snapshot protection.  The new series also acts as an effective file storage, sharing, backup, synchronization, and data protection features and features applications for multimedia, sharing, backup and data storage; all at an affordable price tag.

Users of Windows, macOS and Linux can use the TS-x28A series as a file storage platform and share files with non-NAS users via share links. Moreoever, the Qsync feature automatically synchronize files across devices for sharing and collaboration, and Hybrid Backup Sync is a complete multi-layer file backup solution.
