The QNAP TX-x31P3 Series comes with both a 1GbE and 2.5GbE port for those that are looking to adopt a faster network connection (those using a 1GbE can still use it though). If users choose the 2.5GbE route, the TX-x31P3 can be connected to a 2.5GbE switch and enable faster backup and smoother media streaming. Users can connect peripherals and expand capacity through the one of the three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. And the RAM is expandable up to 8GB.

Like many of QNAP’s devices, the QNAP TX-x31P3 Series comes with the QTS. This gives users a notification center or all possible system events and alerts. Users have access to security features through Security Counselor and are able to backup data to other NAS or cloud storage through HS. QTS comes with its own App Center providing a wide range of useful apps for most business cases as well as mobile apps for remote access to the NAS.
