Seagate Technology has announced their new 2TB Game Drive for Xbox at Gamescom 2015 in collaboration with Microsoft as a strategic marketing relationship. This new external drive works as add-on storage for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming consoles all the while sporting the same color green and black scheme.
The size of games for current generation consoles have grown to a massive average of 35 to 50GB, which translates to upwards of 10% of the entire 500GB internal drive for one single game. The Seagate Game Drive helps keep consumers from deleting games in their library by adding 2TB in storage using a USB 3.0 plug-and-play connection all the while sporting a green top-case and black chassis with embossed Xbox and Seagate logos.
Seagate also indicates that consumers can use the Seagate Game Drive with any another Xbox One; simply connect the drive, sign in with your own login credentials, and you will have the ability to use all of your games and apps on a different console.

The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox is now available at consumer electronic retailers worldwide for roughly $99.99 USD inclusive of a two-year limited warranty.
