Today Seagate Technology announced a new enterprise-class NAS HDD. While Seagate already has a NAS HDD, the new enterprise class NAS HDD comes in capacities as high as 6TB and is designed to perform under demanding workloads in environments calling for 24×7 availability and accessibility.

Today Seagate Technology announced a new enterprise-class NAS HDD. While Seagate already has a NAS HDD, the new enterprise class NAS HDD comes in capacities as high as 6TB and is designed to perform under demanding workloads in environments calling for 24×7 availability and accessibility.

Though many businesses are moving deeper into cloud storage, there is still a large need for solutions that make data access available at all times. The Seagate Enterprise NAS HDD is optimized for NAS performance, comes in 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 5TB, and 6TB, and is designed for 4 to 16-bay enclosures giving a maximum of 96TB of total capacity. Featuring enterprise class performance and reliability, lowest total cost of ownership, and interoperability with NAS vendors, the Seagate E-NAS HDD is an appealing option for businesses needing NAS storage.

Users have the option of adding Seagate's Recovery service to the E-NAS HDDs as well. The Recovery service is a 3-year data recovery service beginning at the purchase of the HDD and includes all forms of data loss without exception. The service has a great than 90% success rate and offers SMB a complete data protection program with little to worry about.
