Toshiba America has announced the PX03SN, their latest enterprise SSD designed for read-intensive workloads. The Toshiba PX03SN is available in capacities ranging from 200GB to 1.6TB and supports one full drive write per day. The drive features a 7mm 2.5-inch form factor, SAS 12Gb/s interface and lower cost, enterprise-quality Toshiba 19nm MLC NAND. In addition to read-specific workloads, the SSD is built for many other use cases like host server storage, caching applications, and use in storage arrays; essentially anywhere that enterprises are looking for an affordable and reliable light-duty drive without having to sacrifice performance.
