Veeam Announces New VCSP Program Enhancements

Yesterday, Veeam marked the 10th anniversary of the Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) program. Along with this installation, Veeam announced the release of the program discounts and updates, as well as the release of the new Veeam Service Provider Console version 4. The company claims that the new capabilities included in the Veeam Service Provider Console v4 will make Veeam’s environments more accessible to manage and monitor.

Yesterday, Veeam marked the 10th anniversary of the Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) program. Along with this installation, Veeam announced the release of the program discounts and updates, as well as the release of the new Veeam Service Provider Console version 4. The company claims that the new capabilities included in the Veeam Service Provider Console v4 will make Veeam’s environments more accessible to manage and monitor.

The VCSP program, initially launched in 2010, enables service providers to leverage Veeam software to offer reliable, revenue-generating Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) offerings. Veeam Service Provider Console v4 is available now and free to all VCSP partners. Its new 2020 release includes discounts and tiers such as Point Reduction for Enterprise Plus, Volume Rental Agreement (VRA) Discounts, Veeam Universal Licensing (VUL) for Rental, and VCSP Pulse.

Veeam is also launching the new Veeam Service Provider Console v4, its cloud-enabled platform for centralized management and monitoring of data protection operations and services, which is designed for service providers and enterprises. The new capabilities of this version 4, is intended to help scale Veeam’s partner offerings, collaborate with its channel partners, and manage Veeam consumption all in one place.

Veeam Service Provider Console v4 new features include:

  • Enhanced Usage Reporting Engine: Automatically generate the single usage report for all workloads without spending time manually aggregating points, and ​workload counts​.
  • Full Support for Veeam Backup & Replication v10: Leverage powerful new capabilities of NAS Backup and Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows v4. ​
  • Enhanced API Interface​: Construct advanced pathways to further automation for service providers and their customers with NEW RESTful API actions and endpoints, with API usage now extended to the users with the Reseller role.
