Physical Build and Layout

The Anker SOLIX F2000 is housed in a robust case with an ergonomic handle and wheels, facilitating ease of movement across various terrains. The front panel hosts all the output ports, with a user-friendly layout accommodating different plug types.

A clear display shows the input and output of the battery, current battery level, and estimated runtime—the physical buttons include LED lights that enhance accessibility, particularly in low-light conditions. The LED light bar on this implementation is top-tier and one of the best tested, offering three brightness levels and a flashing mode. It is soft on the eyes and not overpowering.

On the back, you’ll find input ports for AC and solar charging. The SOLIX F2000 also features scalability, allowing for capacity expansion up to 4096Wh with an additional battery, offering extensive power for all needs.

App Integration

The Anker power station includes Bluetooth connectivity to access important information regarding the portable power station. The main visual element is a battery graphic of the power station, showing charge level and a temperature reading, indicating the current state of the power station’s battery and its operating environment.

Below the battery graphic is a section titled ‘Input,’ with placeholders for both DC and AC input, indicating input wattage when active. The ‘Output’ section shows a graph and power output, with controls and a timer for AC Output, and below that are controls for the 12v output and the built-in light.

Testing and Real-world Results

Our testing showed that the SOLIX F2000 performs exceptionally well. It took 2300Wh to fully charge from 0 to 100 percent and delivered 1870Wh of power before cutting off the inverter. As a temporary device to help smooth out power outage disruptions at home or an off-grid camping companion, paired with suitable solar panels, it can offer sustainable power for extended periods. The Anker SOLIX F2000 can be charged quickly, conveniently, and sustainably using its 1000W solar input capacity.
