Today Chenbro launched yet another server with the Chenbro RB133G13-U10. This new server is a barebone, 1U, Dual Xeon NVMe SSD server. This little server is ideal for use cases such as software-defined storage, virtualization, HPC, Cloud computing, and SaaS.
The Chenbro RB133G13-U10 is all about agility and flexibility for those that need it now or may need it in the future. This custom chassis (that is available for branding and customizations) comes pre-fitted with a dual Intel Xeon motherboard that can have up to two Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with up to 28-cores, 165W TDP, with a maximum of 2TB of DDR4 memory. This motherboard also allows the sever to be equipped with 2X 10GbE connectivity, 1X PCI-E Gen 3 x16 HH/HL expansion slot and with support for up to 10X hot-swappable NVMe U.2 drives. A good starting point for most companies.
The Chenbro RB133G13-U10 sever offers Intel VROC, Apache Pass, and Redfish compliance. Intel VROC works well for all NVMe as it is said to unleash full performance potential in RAID arrays. This should result in lower costs and power consumption versus servers using a traditional hardware RAID HBA card. The server is also said to hit higher performance and endurance as it supports the 10 NVMe SSDs directly to the PCIe bus.
