Dell has announced the availability of the Latitude 7212 Rugged Extreme Tablet, a versatile mobile device designed for the jobs in harsh environments such as military, public safety, industrial and energy sectors. The Latitude 7212 is backed by Dell’s global support and supply chain services and has been engineered to be lighter and more powerful than previous generations. Dell states that it has also improved performance and more battery life, the latter which delivers up to 19 hours of use with dual, hot-swappable batteries.
The Latitude 7212 weighs in at slightly over 2.8 lbs. for base configurations and features the latest Intel 6th and 7th Generation Core I-series 15-watt processors. Moreover, Dell’s new tablet is backward compatible with docking solutions for desks and vehicles and offers enterprise-ready security and manageability to safeguard data and sensitive information for field service, public safety and military professionals.
