Today Delphix announced new features to its latest data as a service (DaaS) software platform, Delphix DaaS 4.2. The updated features allow for simple migration to both private and public clouds. The DaaS platform now supports Amazon GovCloud, OpenStack, and KVM hypervisor environments.
While the cloud market is growing there is still reluctance, especially from organizations such as finance, retail, government, and healthcare that don’t want their highly sensitive data at risk in a public cloud. And with government agencies they not only have to consider cost and meeting mandated regulations, they also have to be able to obtain and deliver their data when needed.
Delphix DaaS platform enables on-demand access to data, enables IT and development teams continuous application delivery, accelerate ERP upgrades, all the while cutting costs and reducing risks in cloud migrations. The platform delivers the right data to the right team by virtualizing the entire application stack. Delphix then combines with virtual data delivery with its patented data masking technology (to comply with industry regulations) to help organizations operate efficiently, with increased data agility, management, and movement to the cloud.
