Icy Dock has announced the MB082SP EZ-FIT PRO, the newest product in the SSD/HDD bracket and converter line. The EZ-FIT PRO is a full metal dual 2.5" to 3.5" bracket with a matte black finish, featuring a quick and easy installation requiring no tools or screws when installing or changing your HDDs/SSDs. Its durable design and simplicity of the drive installation make protecting and swapping your hard drives easy and efficient.
With Icy Dock’s new EZ-Lock mechanism, all customers need to do is simply slide the SSDs or hard drives in and it will automatically lock into place; it is very similar to the way you install a battery in a digital camera. Unlike with other competing brackets when replacing drives, you no longer need to deal small screws. Simply toggle the EZ-Lock and replace the failed drive, which is ideal for a system that uses RAID. Additionally, to reduce the amount of vibration in the drives and the case, the EZ-FIT PRO has unique built-in anti-vibration technology for each bay of the device.
