Lenovo announced an expanded ThinkPad portfolio of mobile workstations. This expansion covers 13 new models (and a monitor) with both Intel 11th gen Core vPro and AMD Ryzen 5000 processors. The announcement today covers redesigned X13 and X13 Yoga along with the updated T and L series. The expanded portfolio aims to address the recent shift to cloud-based environments.

The new Lenovo ThinkPads offer plenty of choice, it should with over a dozen models, and configurations to best suit their needs. Certain models are available with either Intel or AMD CPUs and will be offered in either black or storm grey. Some models are able to be configured with either an AMD Radeon or NVIDIA GPU. The portfolio comes with security options such as a Match-on-Chip fingerprint reader, which is integrated into the power button for ease of use on some models, and a human presence detection sensor on Intel models that offers zero-touch log-in through Windows Hello facial recognition.
Starting with the monitor, the Lenovo P40w is a 39.7-inch monitor with 21:9 aspect ratio and 5120 x 2160 WUHD resolution. The monitor is said to reduce eye fatigue through a combination of Natural Low Blue Light technology and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Display Certification. The Lenovo ThinkPad T Series has expanded to include the ThinkPad T14s i, T14 i and T15 powered by 11th Gen Intel Core vPro processors, and ThinkPad T14s and T14 powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors. Like the rest of the T Series, the new models are focused on productivity. The workstations are highly configurable so they can be tailored to specific user needs. The ThinkPad T14 i offers features designed for healthcare professionals, including an antimicrobial surface treatment, FIPS-201 compliant fingerprint reader with RFID reader, and optional Privacy Guard displays help keep confidential patient data more protected. The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 and X13 Yoga are a blend of performance and high-portability. The ThinkPad X13 i and X13 Yoga are both powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core vPro processors while the ThinkPad X13 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 500 Series Mobile processors.
