Lexar has announced the new Lexar Professional NM700 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD to its portfolio of SSD solutions. The NM700 supports the PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe interface and features 3D NAND flash, which blends a mix of affordability, performance, and efficiency.

Lexar has announced the new Lexar Professional NM700 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD to its portfolio of SSD solutions. The NM700 supports the PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe interface and features 3D NAND flash, which blends a mix of affordability, performance, and efficiency.

Designed for a range of media professionals like videographers, photographers, and designers, Lexar quotes the NM700 with sequential transfer speeds up to 3,500MB/s read and 2,000MB/s write, and random speeds up to 332,000 IOPS read and 275,000 IOPS write. Moreover, the Lexar NM700 features Low-Density Parity Check error code correction technology, which promotes more reliable data transfers by fixing data errors before they show any symptoms of slowdowns.
