GIGABYTE Technology announced its support for the new AMD EPYC 7003 processors. The company announced over 40 servers and server motherboards that will be ready for the new CPUs. The new solutions are aimed at modern data centers on-prem and cloud as well as provide generational improvements to deliver exceptional performance in HPC, HCI virtualization, cloud, and data analytics. The company released models for the new CPUs in their R-Series, H-Series, G-Series, S-Series, and M-Series.
NETGEAR announced a new Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6 router with the Nighthawk MK83. Benefits include:
AWS announced the general availability of its new Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) X2gd instances. The company states that the new instances are memory-optimized and powered by the AWS-designed, Arm-based Graviton2 processors. They also go on to claim that the new instances deliver up to 55% better price/performance compared to current generation x86-based X1 instances, while also offering increased memory per vCPU compared to other Graviton2-based instances.
TEAMGROUP announced its new T-CREATE brand that consists of EXPERT DDR4 OC10L desktop memory, CLASSIC PCIe 4.0 SSD, and CLASSIC DDR4 10L laptop memory. While memory is fine, we are of course interested in the storage. The CLASSIC PCIe 4.0 SSD is said to hit speeds of 5GB/s read and 4.4GB/s write. The drive comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities and $200 and $400 respectively.
