NVIDIA highlights advancements and innovations with AWS during re:Invent.
NVIDIA announced a potpourri of news during this week’s AWS re:Invent. We have summarized the news to give you the highlights.
The NVIDIA DGX Cloud AI platform is available on AWS Marketplace, providing enterprises with a fully managed, high-performance solution to train and customize AI models. This platform offers flexibility over terms, opens direct access to NVIDIA experts, and provides scalability for businesses aiming to expand their AI capabilities. Early adopters, like Leonardo.ai, part of the Canva family, are leveraging DGX Cloud to develop advanced design tools.
AWS introduced liquid-to-chip cooling solutions for high-density compute chips, enhancing performance and energy efficiency in AI workloads. This innovative system integrates air and liquid cooling to support next-gen supercomputing systems like NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 and future NVIDIA Blackwell-based platforms. Blackwell will underpin Amazon EC2 P6 instances and projects like DGX Cloud on AWS and Project Ceiba, providing maximum performance and scalability for AI applications.
NVIDIA Isaac Sim, powered by NVIDIA L40S GPUs on Amazon EC2 G6e instances, extends robotics development on AWS. Isaac Sim enables developers to simulate AI-driven robots in virtual environments and includes advanced synthetic data generation tools via OpenUSD NIM microservices. Robotics innovators, including Aescape, Cobot, and Swiss Mile, use Isaac Sim to validate designs and optimize performance before deployment.
NVIDIA BioNeMo integrates with AWS HealthOmics to streamline AI-driven drug discovery. Companies like A-Alpha Bio and SoftServe use BioNeMo’s capabilities to accelerate research. A-Alpha Bio, for instance, achieved a 12x increase in inference speed using NVIDIA H100 GPUs on AWS. Additionally, SoftServe launched Drug Discovery, a generative AI solution leveraging NVIDIA Blueprints, set to simplify drug development workflows.
NVIDIA’s AI Blueprints are available for deployment on AWS, enabling rapid integration into workflows. Use cases include video search and summarization agents, vulnerability analysis for cybersecurity, and continuous integration for early security patching. These blueprints provide scalable, ready-to-deploy solutions for various industries.
Integrating NVIDIA CUDA-Q with Amazon Braket facilitates quantum computing development by allowing hybrid applications across quantum processors and GPU-accelerated simulations. CUDA-Q offers seamless development tools for quantum research, now preinstalled on Braket for efficient workflows.
Leading integrators like Deloitte and platform providers like Cloudera are scaling AI solutions using NVIDIA technologies on AWS. Cloudera enhances AI inference, while Cohesity integrates NVIDIA NeMo Retriever in its generative AI assistant for improved conversational search. Other firms, like DataStax and Deloitte, leverage NVIDIA NeMo for applications spanning embedded databases to CFO-specific financial analysis.
AWS and NVIDIA have introduced RAPIDS Accelerator for Apache Spark on Amazon EMR, enabling faster data analytics and machine learning workloads. These Quick Start notebooks simplify Spark job qualification, reducing data processing costs by up to 80% without code changes.
NVIDIA IGX Orin and Jetson Orin platforms now integrate with AWS IoT Greengrass for scalable AI model deployment at the edge. This collaboration streamlines industrial and robotics applications operations by combining NVIDIA’s edge computing with AWS IoT services. A developer guide is available to get started with these advanced tools.
These announcements highlight the integration of NVIDIA technologies with AWS, advancing scalability, energy efficiency, and performance across AI, robotics, drug discovery, and quantum computing applications.
