Premio Announces Intel Skylake Support For Its Server & Storage Solutions

Premio has launched their next generation of server and storage solutions that now feature Intel’s Skylake Xeon Processors. This will bring various substantial improvements to Premio’s high-performance storage lines such as their all-flash Flachestream solution (FlacheSAN1L-D5, FlacheSAN2V-D5, and FlacheSAN2-D5), high-availability Durastreams solution (DSS424S-D5), general-purpose Omnistream solution (OSS1A4-5, OSS212L-D5, OSS212F-D5, OSS224-D5, OSS316-D5, and OSS424-D5), and high-density ScaleStream solution (eDrawer4048S-D5). Premio’s servers are designed to minimize read/write bottlenecks and feature hot-swappable and redundant components, as well as patented tray-less and tool-less designs, for seamless maintenance and efficiency.

With the Xeon Scalable Processor, Premio claims they will be set to offer some of the best server solutions available on the storage market. Moreover, their flagship products–FlacheStreams, DuraStreams, OmniStreams, and ScaleStreams–are built with solid chassis designs that help CDNs and data centers easily switch and upgrade to the newest available processor through Intel’s “tick-tock” silicon design.
