Today QNAP Systems Inc. announced that its enterprise-class Turbo NAS series are certified DataCore Ready for SANsymphony-V. SANsymphony-V is DataCore’s virtual SAN software-only solution that runs on existing x86 architecture. This combination of QNAP’s hardware and DataCore’s software aims to maximize the availability and utilization of IT assets while simplifying data storage management.
Like other “ready” certifications, DataCore Ready means completion of a rigorous compatibility testing process for solutions that are verified to enhance DataCore software-defined storage infrastructures. The DataCore Ready certification applies to the TVS-ECx80, TS-ECx80, TS-x79U-SAS and SS-x79U-SAS series Turbo NAS. Now companies can leverage benefits and features from both QNAP and DataCore to increase performance and meet the ever growing and changing storage needs.
