QNAP QSW-1105-5T Now Available

QNAP Systems has launched the QSW-1105-5T, the company’s first 2.5GbE network switch. The QNAP QSW-1105-5T comes equipped with five 2.5GbE ports (which support next-generation 2.5GbE devices. 2.5G/1G/100M transfer speeds), plug-and-play installation, automatic loop detection and blocking, and auto-negotiation functions. The QSW-1105-5T essentially gives customers an easy way to build a 2.5GbE network setup for their home or business: simply connect your devices to the QSW-1105-5T and it’s ready to go.

The auto-negotiation feature optimizes transfer speeds and performance for each connected device, while the built-in management functionality promotes consistent and effective transmission of network packets. In addition, the network loop detection automatically locks looped ports so that the network environment can resume normal operation as quickly as possible. The QSW-1105-5T also leverages a fanless design, which allows for quiet operation via the company’s unique ventilated cooling design.
