Today QNAP Systems announced that it has updated the operating system for its QuTS hero NAS line with QuTS hero h4.5.1 NAS operating system. The latest update is all about enhancements and improvements including support for WORM (Write Once, Read Many) auto-committing, VM live migration, Wi-Fi WPA2 Enterprise, Azure Active Directory Domain Services (Azure AD DS), QuLog Center for centralized log management, and QuFirewall for network security.

QNAP first announced the128-bit, ZFS based QuTS hero line earlier this year. The line of NAS were all about data integrity, which makes them ideal for enterprise usage where data protection is emphasized. Much like QTS, QuTS hero includes an App Center that allows users to expanding their NAS capabilities.
