Equipped with dual Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx 10GbE network ports, the new QNAP NAS provides users with high-speed connectivity and network deployment flexibility. Moreover, the PCIe slot can be outfitted with a QM2 expansion card, USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) card, wireless network card or a low-profile entry-level graphics card.

The TS-977XU series can be used to host virtual machines and containers, including snapshots and virtual machine backups support for complete virtualization management. It also supports Virtual QTS, which allows users to run multiple virtual QTS operating systems on a single NAS, providing benefits of resource segregation, flexible application deployment as well as energy, cost and space savings.
