RunCore has announced that it will be attending Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 on January 10th to the 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada. RunCore has focused on SSD solutions for this year’s CES, which will be displayed at their booth (37015). Some of the products it will be showcasing include Xapear, Falcon series, and the Pro V 7mm 2.5" SSD.
RunCore’s Xapear is the world’s first encrypted SSD with RFID technology and Mobile Phone Encryption. RFID User access control takes advantage of the AES128 encryption algorithm, which controls access permissions. Users can only access the private space of the SDD if the RFID tag is used. By using a mobile phone with the binding SIM card through the GSM network, users can also check the SSD status or activate the self-erase feature.
The Falcon series and Pro V 7mm 2.5” are the two new SSDs that will be unveiled at the exhibition. The Falcon series is a Marvell-based SDD that has high R/W IOPS for customers seeking high-end performance while the Pro V series is a 7mm 2.5" SATA 6Gbps with a read and write performance of 540MB/s and 500MB/s respectively.
