The Silicon Power US70 SSD is equipped with built-in bad block management (BBM) mechanism, which identifies bad blocks in the NAND flash so that it can avoid storage in these blocks and eliminate access errors. It includes also features over-provision to increase reserved space, improve performance/durability, and reduce NAND flash wear.
