SK hynix Platinum P41 PCIe Gen4 SSD Announced

SK Hynix has announced the release of the SK hynix Platinum P41, its newest PCIe NVMe Gen 4.0 SSD to hit the market. The Platinum SSD series is the company’s flagship line and is designed specifically for gamers and content creators looking for a high-speed solution for their PC.

SK Hynix has announced the release of the SK hynix Platinum P41, its newest PCIe NVMe Gen 4.0 SSD to hit the market. The Platinum SSD series is the company’s flagship line and is designed specifically for gamers and content creators looking for a high-speed solution for their PC.

The SK hynix Platinum P41 is the company’s first Gen 4.0 SSD equipped with a 176-NAND layer and will be available in capacities of 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

Performance-wise, the Platinum P41 is quoted to deliver sequential speeds up to 7,000MB/s read, and 6,500 MB/s write, while random performance is expected to hit upwards of 1.4 million IOPS read and 1.3 million IOPS write. It also features an endurance rating of up to 1,200 TBW (2TB model).

Backed by a 5-year warranty, the Platinum P41 features an MTBF rating of 1.5 million hours
