TEAMGROUP has released the QX, the industry’s largest consumer-grade 2.5” SATA SSD to date with a massive 15.3TB in capacity. The QX SSD leverages the latest 3D QLC flash memory and features up to 2,560 TBW, which is also the highest we’ve seen. The new SSD from TEAMGROUP also supports smart dual Cache, including SLC Caching technology and DRAM Cache Buffer, quoting speeds up to a moderate 560MB/s read and 480MB/s write. The QX is highlighted by low power consumption and shock resistance.

The QX supports Windows TRIM optimization command; this releases free blocks so operating systems can use them later when writing data. TEAMGROUP also notes the use NCQ, technology that offers optimized access control technology to increase transfer speeds and write performance resulting in less performance degradation and wear and tear. This can improve the lifespan of the SSD.
The new TEAMGROUP QX SSD has a built-in smart algorithm management mechanism, which features a range of functionality, including “garbage collection,” to help ensure operational efficiency. In addition, the QX uses wear-leveling technology and ECC (Error Correction Code) function to improve the overall reliability of data transfers.
